Jindal Worldwide Ltd consolidated sales down 13.35% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit surged by 24.03% As on : 31-Jul-26  18:32

Jindal Worldwide Ltd share price ticked higher by 0.70% to Rs 38.62 after the company's net profit soared by 24.03% to Rs 32.41 crore, while revenue from operations declined 13.35% to Rs 554.72 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Other Textile Products industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 1.65 lakh crore, easing 5.92%. It has softened by 1.67% over last one week and heading higher by 13.73% in last one month while the market capitalization of Jindal Worldwide Ltd has inched up 1.07% and 49% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Jindal Worldwide Ltd stood at Rs 39.72 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 74.52% year-on-year, and jumping 23.66% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 12 crore, crashing by 68.43% YoY and nosediving by 70.62% sequentially. Total expenses contracted by 12.32% to Rs 528.68 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 432.55 crore, softening by 2.24% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 16.59 crore, inching up 3.36% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations witnessed a strong growth of 26.13% to Rs 2288.07 crore, while net profit eased 0.11% to Rs 75.57 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 18112% to Rs 192.4 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 0.76% to Rs 103.28 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 167.16 crore in FY26, as against Rs 5.45 crore in FY25. Jindal Worldwide Ltd retreated by 5.69% in last one year, significantly underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 4.36% during the same period.
